In Fall 2014 (Senior): Griffin started all five events in the fall, finishing 14 rounds of action… shot a season-low 71-74-76=221 at The Grove Intercollegiate (Oct. 26-28), finishing in a tie for eighth place overall… took home adidas® OVC Male co-Golfer of the Week honors for his performance… racked up a top 15 finish at the Kenny Perry Invitational (Oct. 13-14), tying for 11th overall after carding a 77-72-73=222… concluded the fall season with a stroke average of 74.57.
In Spring 2014 (R-Junior): Griffin competed in all six spring events, completing 17 rounds of action… finished in the top 20 at the Grover Page Classic (Mar. 10-11) with the scores of 72-76-73=221 to place tied for 19th… shared the Impact Award on the Golden Eagle squad as well as named the team’s Long Hitter… ended the year with a 74.72 stroke average.
In Fall 2013 (R-Junior): Griffin had a strong fall, competing in all five tournaments and ending with an improved average of 73.6… scored a low round of 69 at three different tournaments… nabbed a top 25 finish at the Bearcat Invitational (Oct. 7-8) where he carded a 75-74-73=222 to finish tied for 24th.

In Spring 2012 (Sophomore): Griffin played in six tournaments while accumulating 18 rounds of play… nabbed a top 15 finish at the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate (Apr. 16-17) after shooting 72+70+74=216 to finish even and tied for 14th… averaged 75.8 per round on the year.
In Fall 2011 (Sophomore): Griffin competed in all five tournaments during the fall season, totaling 14 rounds of golf… finished tied for 10th out of 92 golfers with a 68+72+72=212 at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate (Oct. 17-18), finishing -4 for the weekend… shot a career-low round of 68 in the first round at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate… wrapped up the fall season with an average of 74.1.
In Spring 2011 (Freshman): Griffin participated in five tournaments, racking up 12 rounds of action… tied for fourth place at the Big Blue Classic (Apr. 3-5), where he shot a 73+74=147… also finished in the top 15 of the Grover Page Classic (Mar. 14-15) after shooting a 74+75+72=221… averaged a score of 74.7 per round for his debut year.
In Fall 2010 (Freshman): Griffin played in four tournaments, posting a fall average of 75.0 in 12 rounds of play… scored his low round of 70 in the first round of the APSU F&M Bank Intercollegiate (Oct. 18-19)… finished two-under par at the event, recording a 70+73+71=214.
High School: Griffin came to Tech from Oak Ridge High School after playing for four seasons for coach Jody Wadell… as a junior, finished second in the district and region tournaments… went on to capture second place in the TSSAA State Tournament… named the 2009 Player of the Year… was selected to play in the Wiley Cup as a junior and senior for the Roane/Anderson County team in competition against Knox County.
