COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's basketball team had one of its most complete efforts of the season as the Golden Eagles topped Morehead State on the road in their first meeting of the season back in January.

Now the Tech women will look for a repeat performance on Saturday as the Golden Eagles work for positioning in the Ohio Valley Conference race.

Tipoff against the visiting Eagles is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday. Roger Ealey and Frank Harrell will have the call on 106.1 The Eagle, while Dylan Vazzano and Steve Smith will broadcast the game on ESPN+ (subscription required). Fans locally will also be able to watch the game on Cookeville PBS affiliate WCTE with Josh Scott and Joey Coe on the call.

The last time the two teams met, the Golden Eagles dominated inside, outscoring Morehead State 46-24 in the paint. Tech collected a trio of 13-point performances with Reagan Hurst, Maaliya Owens and Peyton Carter leading the way, while Jennifer Sullivan also collected a double-digit game with 10 points.

Tech's defense forced MSU into 24 turnovers and converted those into 27 points.

Veronica Charles and Katie Novik both scored 14 points, while Blessing King missed a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.
