COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Interested in trying out for the nationally-ranked Tennessee Tech Cheerleading and Dance Teams? Tryouts will be held April 11, 12, and 13 in the Academic Wellness Center on Tech's campus.

Please attend the sessions that correspond with the team you wish to try out for.

• Friday, April 11 | Dance 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Cheer 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Saturday, April 12 | Cheer 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Dance 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• Sunday, April 13 | Dance 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Cheer 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Please wear Tennessee Tech-branded or purple/gold athletic wear. Hair must be pulled back. No jewelry whatsoever. If a prospective student-athlete cannot attend all three required tryout sessions, but still wishes to try out, the athlete can try out virtually or can combine multiple aspects of the tryout into one of the scheduled tryout days.

Please email Head Coach Sydney Hickerson shickerson@tntech.edu with your full name, date of birth, cell phone number, current high school, and position (cheer). You will receive virtual tryout instructions via email on the Thursday morning before tryout weekend. 

Participants should also bring a copy of their insurance, a signed waiver and proof of admittance to Tennessee Tech University.
