COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – As the Tennessee Tech softball team makes it voyage to the 2015 NCAA Tournament, come out and support the Golden Eagles one final time before they make the trip down to Auburn. On Wednesday morning, all fans are invited join in on a celebratory sendoff hosted by Cookeville Communications at 11:30 a.m. CT at Tech Softball Field.

Complimentary refreshments and Golden Eagle pom-poms and stickers will be a part of the festivities, just before the team gets on the bus and departs Cookeville at noon.

Champions of the Ohio Valley Conference, Tech gets set to make its seventh all-time NCAA Tournament appearance and the first since 2007. The Golden Eagles will kick off its tourney run with a Friday matchup against the nation's No. 4 seed, Auburn University, at 5:30 p.m. CT.

A proud supporter of Tech Athletics, Cookeville Communications carries Golden Eagle football games on 98.5 KISS FM, while this season's TTU men's and women's basketball games, along with the 2015 OVC Softball Tournament, were broadcast on FM 106.1 The Eagle. The NCAA Tournament will be aired live on FM 107.7 WHUB and AM 1400 The Hub.
