COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With the start of the 2020-21 football season less than a month away, start times for the contests at Tucker Stadium have been announced.
Every spring football game at home will start at 1:30 p.m. Six of the seven games on the conference-only slate are on Sundays, with the lone exception of the April 3 game on a Saturday in observance of the Easter holiday.
The Golden Eagles host three games in Tucker Stadium this spring, starting with the season-opener on February 21 against Austin Peay. Tech will also host Murray State on March 14 and Tennessee State on April 3.
COVID protocols and seating information will be announced at a later date.
In addition, Tech's road slate also includes:
- 2/28 | Jacksonville State | 3 p.m.
- 3/21 | Eastern Illinois | 1 p.m.
- 3/28 | Southeast Missouri | 2 p.m.
- 4/11 | UT Martin | 3 p.m.
Eastern Kentucky played a nine-game schedule in the fall and opted out of spring football and the Division I Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.
All Ohio Valley Conference teams will be idle on the weekend of March 6 and 7 with the OVC Basketball Championships being held that weekend in Evansville, Ind.
