COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Every year, the Tennessee Tech football alumni gather from all over the country, converging back in Cookeville for the annual Tech Football Alumni Reunion Weekend and Golf Classic.

This year, the event celebrates its 30th anniversary, 30 years of supporting the Tennessee Tech football program and trying to help raise the Golden Eagles to new heights.

This year's event is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, July 10th and 11th, at Golden Eagle Golf Club. Friday features the Tony Stone BBQ Dinner. Saturday is the four-person scramble as teams compete for the title and the Jim Ragland Players Cup for the top-finishing team made up of Tech football coaches, players or managers.

In addition, the Jeff Jacoby Putting Contest, named after the legendary broadcaster and former Golden Eagle football player.

Two shotgun starts will be held – the first at 8 a.m. and the second at 1 p.m.

The entry fee for the tournament is $125 per person for a total of $500 per team. The entry fee includes a goody bag, practice round, cart, beverages, cap, the Tony Stone BBQ dinner, Ralph's Donuts for breakfast and John Dogs from John's Place for lunch, as well as the awards dinner provided by 37 Cedar on Saturday night.

There are also two sponsorship levels. The gold sponsorship ($700) includes a four-person team, hole signage and the rest of the entry amenities. The purple sponsorship ($300) includes hole signage and the rest of the entry amenities.

Mulligans are available for $20 each with a limit of two.

The event is open to the public, but space is limited and the tournament is expected to sell out.

A package is available for $100 to attend for the weekend without playing a round of golf with all of the other amenities.

Tickets for the Tony Stone BBQ dinner or the Saturday awards dinner are available for $30 each.
