COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech baseball team's weekend series finale on Sunday, Mar. 2 against UIC has been bumped up one hour, now featuring a 12:00 p.m. CT first pitch at Quillen Field and Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex. The contest was originally slated for a 1:00 p.m. start.
The decision to move the game up an hour comes as a way to assist the visitors from Chicago with their travel back home. The series will open on Friday, Feb. 28 with a 3:00 p.m. tilt at the Quill. Saturday's game two will begin at 2:00 p.m.
Admission to all Tech baseball games is free of charge. Fans are encouraged to check TTUSports.com and Tennessee Tech social media for any more potential updates to this weekend's schedule.
