COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Tech student-athletes pulled together once again to give back as they took part in a clothing drive to support the Cookeville Rescue Mission as part of an initiative held by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. As a whole, Tech's student-athletes donated 1,077 items, which will be donated to the Rescue Mission.
The top number of donations came from the Golden Eagle softball team, who donated 351 items or 15.95 per student-athlete. Tech women's soccer finished second with a 14.07 average, followed by Tech volleyball (9.56) and tennis (5.25).
