COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Tech baseball team continues its action this week with a total of five games. Tech will visit Belmont, host Middle Tennessee, and travel for a three-game series against OVC opponent Eastern Illinois.

The Golden Eagles (10-8, 0-3) have already played Belmont and Middle Tennessee each once this year, with MTSU beating Tech 9-8 last month, and Tech topping Belmont 8-6 on March 11 in Cookeville.

Tech three opponents have all gotten off to strong starts this season, with a combined record of 42-19 this season. Belmont is 12-11, MTSU is 17-3, and Eastern Illinois is 13-5 and 3-0 in the OVC.

Tech's lone home game, Wednesday against Middle Tennessee, is a night game, and will begin at 6 p.m. at Bush Stadium. After their series at Eastern Illinois, Tech will return home for single games against Alabama A&M on March 30 and East Tennessee on April 1, both starting at 6 p.m.
