COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Alumni, fans, friends, former players and
family members who want to read more about the 2010 Tennessee Tech
baseball and softball teams can now purchase the Golden Eagle
guides, on sale through Athletics for $10 each.
The guides examine the history and tradition of each program,
incuding records, all-time leaders and award winners, plus an
in-depth look into this year's squads from the coaching staff to
the players.
Produced by the award-winning Tech Sports Information Office, the guides may be purchased at the Athletics Ticket Office in Eblen Center, over the phone (931-372-3940) or through the mail. To order through the mail, send a check (made payable to Tennessee Tech Athletics) for $10 per guide to: Sports Information Office, TTU Box 5057, Cookeville, TN 38505. Be sure to include an address to send the guide.
The 80-page aseball guide was produced by Nick Heidelberger, a
TTU sports information intern and baseball contact. The content of
the baseball guide runs from color photos of each player to a look
at Tech's 2009 OVC Tournament title and NCAA Regional run, a peek
into Tech's baseball facilities, and a review of the Golden Eagles
in the pros.
The 88-page softball guide was produced by Steve Appelhans, also a
sports information intern and the softball team's contact.The
softball guide also includes a color photo of each member of this
years team and color team photo, bios on each player, and a
year-by-year walk through the Golden Eagle history including the
roster and results for each team since the program began in 1986.
