JACKSON, Tenn. -- Tennessee Tech's Ohio Valley Conference
Baseball Tournament game against Jacksonville State scheduled for 7
p.m. Friday has been postponed by rain in West Tennessee. The two
teams will take the field Saturday at 11 a.m.
No. 1 seeded Tech (30-23) will send lefty Adam Liberatore to the
mound. The second-seeded Gamecocks (30-25) will counter with
freshman right hander Hunter Rivers.
The winner of the game will advance to the tournament championship
game, which could be Saturday at 7 p.m. (depending on the
teams).
The loser will turn around and play at 3 p.m. against Murray State,
which remained alive by eliminating Eastern Illinois, 14-4, late
Friday night.
