By TTU Sports Information

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Andres Gispert has built an impressive resume over the last 14 years, working his way up from a coach to breaking down video. Now, Gispert brings his expertise to Tennessee Tech, joining the athletics staff as a Sports Technology Coordinator.

Gispert most recently spent two years within the Cleveland Cavaliers Organization in the coaching video department, serving the Cavaliers NBA franchise, the American Hockey League's Cleveland Monsters, the NBA G-League's Canton Charge and the Arena Football League's Cleveland Gladiators.

During his tenure with the organization, the Cavaliers won the NBA championship and the Monsters won the Calder Cup.

While there, Gispert handled film, exchanged with opponents, filmed and edited practices and created highlight films for the staffs.

Before work there, he spent five months with the University of Albany, serving as the school's director of technology as he worked with football, men's and women's basketball and lacrosse teams.

Prior to his stint there, Gispert worked on the Football Bowl Subdivision level, employed as Kent State's video coordinator for two seasons.

He also worked as an assistant video coordinator for one season at Florida International and as a video coordinator/quality control coach at Chattanooga for one season.

Gispert had coaching stints between 2010 and 2012 at NCAA Division III Southern Virginia as a wide receivers coach and at NCAA Division II Virginia Union as a tight ends coach and video coordinator. He entered the video coordinator field in 2009 as he spent a season with the Arena Football League's Tampa Bay Storm.

Before jumping into that career field, Gispert spent seven years coaching, including stops at NAIA's Webber International, as well as a head coach at Hillsborough Baptist School and as an offensive coordinator and track and field assistant at Miami Booker T. Washington Senior High in Florida.

A Miami native, Gispert earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Nova Southeastern University. He is married to the former LaToya Bell.
