COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Pepsi Bobby Nichols Golden Eagle Scramble presented by Budweiser returns for 2018, set to take place June 2-3.

The fundraiser will span two days, featuring 18 holes of golf on both Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3. The tournament will remain at Golden Eagle Golf Club, Ironwood Golf Course and White Plains Golf Club, just as in years past.

Registered golfers will still receive one practice round at each of the three participating courses leading up to the event anytime after they have paid their registration in full for the fundraising tournament.

The Bobby Nichols Scramble will kick off Friday evening with the annual Doc Fields' golf party/concert. Play will begin Saturday morning, with the annual barbeque dinner, contests and door prizes to follow that evening. Flighting will occur based off Saturday's results and tee times will be set accordingly and communicated to each participant.

Pepsi returns as the title sponsor for the 14th year with Budweiser in the 13th year as the presenting sponsor.

Registration will open Wednesday, March 7 for golfers interested in playing in one of the largest golf fundraising tournaments in the Southeast. Those who register early will get their first choice of tee time and course for play on Saturday. Registration will be available online, on the phone or in person at the Eblen Center ticket office.

The field of 512 is expected to be completely filled for the fundraiser, so participants are encouraged to register as soon as possible. With a new and exciting tournament format, the Pepsi Bobby Nichols Golden Eagle Scramble presented by Budweiser will continue to be one of the largest and most popular golf events in the region.

Tournament applications will be mailed to all past participants, former Tennessee Tech athletes and alumni in the surrounding areas.
