2021 (Freshman*): Wyles took part in all six of Tech's meets during the fall… led the Golden Eagles in two races… sprinted to a PR of 17:44.90 in the 5K at the Covered Bridge Open (Sept. 3) to pace the Tech squad with an 11th-place finish… led the purple and gold with a 5K of 18:15.5 at the Commodore Classic (Sept. 17)… finished seventh overall and fourth for the Tech squad at the Golden Eagle Invitational (Oct. 15) with a 5K of 19:04.8… delivered a 12th-place finish with a 5K time of 18:48.3 at the OVC Championships (Oct. 30)… posted a PR in the 6K with a final time of 22:48.71 at the NCAA South Regionals (Nov. 12).

2020-21 (Freshman – Adams State/Tech): Wyles was unable to compete at Adams State with the fall season cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic… transferred to Tech following the fall semester… sat out the 2020-21 spring season after her transfer.

High School: Wyles competed for the Guildford & Godalming Athletics Club while attending Godalming Sixth Form College in Surrey, England… delivered a PR in the 5K with a time of 17:43 as a senior… placed second in the 5K at the England U20 Championship in 2019… ranked in the top-five nationally in the 5K, 10K, half marathon, and 10-mile run in 2019… ranked eighth in the UK U20 in the 3000-meter run and ranked nationally in both the 1,500-meter and 2,000-meter steeplechase… collected a silver medal in cross country for Godalming at the Colleges National Championship, helping the South East to a team title… recorded an eighth-place finish at the British Cross Country Championship.

Personal: Daughter of Elizabeth and Shaun Wyles… born in Redhill, England on August 31, 2001… full name is Ruby Ava Wyles… attended SMU for the 2020 spring semester, training with the cross country and track & field teams before the shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Academic: Majoring in exercise science and physical wellness with a concentration in physiology… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll three times and to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll once… earned the OVC Medal of Honor once.
