Tennessee Tech pauses soccer activities due to COVID-19 protocols

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Due to established COVID-19 protocols, Tennessee Tech Director of Athletics Mark Wilson announced Friday a pause for all team activities for the Golden Eagle soccer team.

The decision was made in accordance with Tennessee Tech University protocols, with at least each of the next three scheduled matches for the Golden Eagles affected. Tech's Friday, Sept. 3 tilt at Western Kentucky, Sunday, Sept. 5 contest at Xavier, and Thursday, Sept. 9 match at home against Samford have all been canceled.  

Tech Athletics and the Golden Eagle soccer program are following OVC, local, and University public health guidelines to prioritize the health and safety of all student-athletes, coaches, staff, and fans.
