COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- A key piece of Tennessee Tech Athletics video
equipment that is required to provide content for webstream
productions has broken and been shipped off for repair. The loss of
that equipment means Tennessee Tech will not be able to offer live
webstreams of this weekend's two home soccer matches against
Georgia State on Friday and Western Carolina on Sunday.
The matches were scheduled to be included in the list of events
being streamed on the OVCDN by the Golden Eagle Sports Network.
Once the equipment is repaired, Tech is slated to webstream three
future soccer home matches against Belmont (Sept. 17), SIUE (Oct.
26) and Jacksonville State (Oct. 31).
"We regret that we will not be able to steam these two matches. We
know that many of our fans, alumni and player's families will be
disappointed," said Rob Schabert, TTU Assistant Athletic Director
for Sports Information and Broadcasting. "We have spent the past
week trying to locate a piece of replacement equipment, but have
not been able to do so."
Fans who cannot attend the matches will still be able to follow
the action with LIVE STATS on TTUsports.com at the links below.

The Golden Eagle Sports Network will produce a post-game video
featuring match highlights and interviews.
"We are extremely proud of the productions that the Golden Eagle
Sports Network provides to the OVC Digital Network, and we have
seen the numbers of those webstreams. We have an awful lot of
people watching our events," Schabert said. "Our staff will do all
we can to get the problem fixed, and to continue to provide the
highest quality coverage of all Tennessee Tech teams as
possible."
The Georgia State match is Friday at 4 p.m., and the Western
Carolina contest is Sunday at 1 p.m. Admission to all home regular
season matches is free.
