Spring 2020 (Freshman): Sciolis did not participate in the team's only event of the spring before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fall 2019 (Freshman): Sciolis played in four of Tech's five fall tournaments, racking up 10 rounds of action… made her collegiate debut at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate (Sept. 30-Oct. 1), posting an 81-77-78=236 for a top-20 finish… ripped of a low round of 75 in the second round of the Dayton Flyer Invitational (Oct. 14-15), finishing with a 157 overall… posted back-to-back scores of 76 for a 152 at the Town and Country Invitational (Oct. 28-29)… wrapped up the fall with a scoring average of 79.00.
High School: Sciolis lettered four years for head coach Derek Able at Bremen High School in Bremen, Ga…. placed third individually at the state championships as a senior and 11th overall as a junior… helped her team to a state title as a senior and runner-up finish as a junior… also led BHS to area championships as a junior and senior… competing on the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour, racked up four top-five finishes, including an individual victory at the 2018 SJGT Hermitage Junior Classic.
Personal: Daughter of Heather and Frank Sciolis… born January 18, 2001… full name is Gittle Madelynn-Ellis Sciolis… father, Frank, played baseball at Mars Hill University.
Academic: Majoring in EXPW/pre-physical therapy… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll twice and to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll once… earned the OVC’s Medal of Honor in 2019-20… recognized as a WGCA All-American Scholar for 2019-20.
