BRENTWOOD, Tenn. - Tennessee Tech senior forward Curtis Phillips Jr. took home his first career Ohio Valley Conference end-of-year honors Tuesday afternoon, earning a place on the All-OVC Second Team as announced by the league.

Phillips led the Golden Eagles in scoring this season, averaging 14.6 points per game in 31 games. He also hauled in 5.2 rebounds per game - ranking second on the team - and tallied 57 steals to rank second in the league. His 59 3-pointers led the team as well.

In league play, the forward turned things up a notch, averaging 16.0 points and 5.9 rebounds. He rounded up 33 steals in the 18 games while dishing out 44 assists and blocking 10 shots.
