2021 (Sophomore*): Adams pitched in 10 games for Tech, making four starts on the hill… wrapped up the year with an 0-2 record and 9.12 ERA… completed 25.2 innings with 30 strikeouts and just nine walks… allowed 26 earned runs and 35 hits… turned in a career-high 5.0 innings of work out of the bullpen versus Alabama State (Feb. 20), striking out a career-best eight batters… tossed 3.0 innings of relief while fanning five in the second game of a doubleheader with Belmont (Apr. 25)… made his first start of the year in the second game of a double dip at Kent State (Feb. 27), punching out five… completed multiple innings in nine outings… struck out five or more batters three times.

2020 (Sophomore): Adams made three appearances in Tech’s 15 games, including a pair of starts, before the remainder of the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic… finished the year with an 0-1 record and 14.04 ERA… wrapped up the year with 8.1 innings on the hill with six strikeouts and two walks… allowed 13 earned runs on 13 hits… tossed a season-high 4.1 innings while making a start in the second game of a doubleheader against Evansville (Feb. 15)… struck out three batters in the contest… also punched out three batters in a start in the second game of a doubleheader at No. 12 NC State (Feb. 22).

2019 (R-Freshman): Adams appeared in 13 contests while making four starts during his first season in the purple and gold… wrapped up the year with a 2-2 record and 9.90 ERA… finished his rookie campaign with 20.0 innings of work while striking out 27 and walking 26… allowed 22 earned runs on 29 hits… made his collegiate debut and first career start in the second game of a doubleheader against Western Illinois (Feb. 16)… posted season-highs of 3.2 innings pitched and five strikeouts in the contest… struck out five batters again in 2.0 scoreless frames of relief against Alabama A&M (Apr. 16), earning his first career victory… strung together four straight scoreless appearances out of the bullpen during the month of April.

2018 (Freshman): Adams sat out the 2018 season as a redshirt due to NCAA transfer rules after signing with Louisville and participating in fall practice with the Cardinals… transferred to Tech prior to the spring semester.

High School: Adams lettered three years for head coach Brad Ganor at Saint Ignatius High School… led his team to district and regional titles as a sophomore and junior… earned All-State First Team honors as a junior and senior and All-State Third Team honors as a sophomore… recorded the lowest ERA in the state of Ohio and in school history in 2017, earning a Super 25 Team nod… posted a ridiculous 0.16 ERA in 42.2 innings as a senior while finishing 5-0 with 76 strikeouts, as well as a .320 batting average in the field… finished with a 1.05 ERA, 6-3 record and 77 strikeouts in 54.2 innings as a junior… twirled a no-hitter in the district final as a sophomore, finishing the year 7-1 with a 1.07 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 57.2 innings… named 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American and 2017 All-Central Region Second Team… earned Perfect Game 2016 Underclass High Honorable Mention and 2015 Underclass Honorable Mention honors.

Personal: Son of Bruce and Cheryl Adams… born Oct. 6, 1998… full name is Connor Adams.

Academic: Pursuing a master’s degree in business administration… earned his bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in business information technology… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll eight times and the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll three times… earned the OVC Medal of Honor once.
