Tech baseball back in Bush Stadium for midweek action against Illinois State

Tennessee Tech Baseball Midweek Preview  (3/13)

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – After a seven-game road stretch ending with a three-game sweep at UT Martin to open Ohio Valley Conference play, the Tennessee Tech baseball team will return home to Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex for some midweek action against Illinois State.

Tech will host the Redbirds Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. CT (game time was moved up from an original 6 p.m. start due to impending frigid weather) and again on Wednesday with first pitch again commencing at 3 p.m.

The Golden Eagles head into midweek action boasting strengths on every side of the ball, boasting the league's top ERA of 4.50, second-best fielding percentage of .980 and the third-best scoring offense, averaging 7.9 runs per game.
