COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team will play host to Ohio Valley Conference rival Morehead State in the team's two lone home duals of the 2025 campaign this weekend, starting with a 3:00 p.m. CT tilt with the visiting Eagles on Friday afternoon at the Tech Beach Volleyball Courts.

Saturday's second match is slated for an 11:00 a.m. CT start, with a pair of special recognitions planned prior to the contest. Director of Volleyball Jeannette Phillips, who served as the Golden Eagle head coach for the first seven tilts of the year, and new head coach Bella Borgiotti will each be honored with commemorative volleyballs to honor their first career wins directing the purple and gold.

Saturday's match-up will also represent Senior Day, with Golden Eagle seniors Brooke Amann, Aleeya Jones, Emma Pabon, Bella Powell, Elena Wallace, Jazmine Yamilkoski, and McKenna Young all set to be recognized prior to the contest.

Competing for the Golden Eagles at the No. 1 slot are senior Bella Powell and freshman Alayna Pierce, making it at least eight straight matches together. The duo was spectacular at the first OVC weekend of competition in Martin last week, finishing 3-1 with the lone loss a three-set thriller to Chattanooga.

At the No. 2 position, senior Brooke Amann and redshirt sophomore Jordan Karlen will return to the battlefield together for the eighth consecutive dual. Locking down the No. 3 pairing for the purple and gold, senior Aleeya Jones and sophomore MK Roberts will look to continue their successful start to the year, boasting four wins together.

Representing the Golden Eagles at the No. 4 slot, seniors Jazmine Yamilkoski and McKenna Young will team up for the fourth time this season. Rounding out the scoring five for the Cookeville crew, senior Emma Pabon and sophomore Ava Schubert will pair up at the No. 5 spot for the first time on the year.
