COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team wraps up its inaugural regular season Friday and Saturday, making the trip to Morehead, Ky. for the second Ohio Valley Conference weekend with four duals on the docket.

Hosted by Morehead State, play will take place at Giovanni's Breadstick Beach. Tech will open Friday's competition with a 7:00 a.m. CT match-up with UT Martin and wrap up the day at 1:00 p.m. against Lindenwood. The Golden Eagles will head back to the courts at 9:00 a.m. for a meeting with Chattanooga Saturday morning before concluding the weekend with a 3:00 p.m. tilt with Eastern Illinois.

"This final OVC weekend will be a great test for how far we've come in the last month," Tech head coach Zach Weinberg explained. "We had a chance to compete with the four teams we'll see this weekend last month at Chattanooga and we are definitely a better team now than we were then. I'm hoping that with another month of practice and partner cohesion, we'll be able to flip some of those close dual defeats we suffered. Our hope is to leave Morehead this weekend with some dual wins under our belt and feel the best we can as we head into next week's OVC tournament."

Representing the purple and gold as the No. 1 pairing for the OVC's second weekend are Aleeya Jones and Bella Powell. In the No. 2 spot for the Golden Eagles, Skylar Boom and Jordan Karlen will look to continue their success after a 1-1 showing against Morehead State at Tech's first-ever home matches at the beginning of the month.

Locking down the No. 3 slot for the purple and gold, Maddie Isringhausen and Brooke Amann will look to build on a 1-1 showing against Morehead State with a chance against the rest of the league. Competing as Tech's No. 4 duo, McKenna Young and Morgan Gish also turned in a 1-1 performance against the rival Eagles in Cookeville three weeks ago.

Rounding out the lineup for the Golden Eagles in the No. 5 position, the combo of Jazmine Yamilkoski and Katie DiRaimondo aims to continue the success displayed during a 2-0 week against Morehead. Competing in exhibition play will be the duo of Olivia Taylor and Emma Pabon.
