COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Abe Fernandez begins his first year as a Marketing and Promotions Coordinator at Tennessee Tech in August 2018.
Fernandez takes on his new role in Marketing and Promotions after interning with the department since December 2017. During his internship, Fernandez was a key contributor to projects supervised by Senior External Coordinator for Marketing and Promotions, Allison Boshears.
A current TTU graduate student pursuing a master's degree in sports management, Fernandez also spent the 2017-18 academic year as the Intramurals graduate assistant on campus with Campus Recreation and Fitness. He also acted as the supervisor and lifeguard under Josh Malone during his undergrad.
Fernandez also earned his bachelor's degree from Tech, graduating in May 2017 with a bachelor's of science in Exercise Science-Fitness and Wellness.
Fernandez, son of Antonio and Maricela Fernandez, currently resides with his two dogs (Thor & Odin) and grandmother in Cookeville, TN.
