COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – While the Tennessee Tech volleyball and beach volleyball teams are getting the job done on the court and the sand, the teams are also excelling in the classroom as they were both announced as recipients of the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s 2025 Team Academic Award on Monday. It marks seven straight years for the Golden Eagles’ indoor squad – earning the honor in each of head coach Jeannette Phillips’ tenure in Cookeville. For the beach volleyball program, it is the third honor – one for each year of its existence – and the first for head coach Isabella Borgiotti.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Following a successful 24-8 season last year, the Tennessee Tech women’s volleyball team aims to build on its momentum in the 2025 season with an exciting home schedule. The Golden Eagles will host 12 home matches – including the Golden Eagle Invitational presented by Holiday Inn – along with crucial Ohio Valley Conference games as Tech strives to win the league championship. “There is so much excitement attached to this season,” said head coach Jeannette Phillips. “I feel like I say that every year, because this time of year is so full of possibilities, but this year we have so many new pieces full of talent in our gym. How can I not be full of anticipation?” With a lot of exciting new faces on the squad joining talented and experienced returners, the veteran coach is embracing the team’s future.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech head volleyball coach Jeannette Phillips announced the newest addition to the Golden Eagle staff on Friday with the hiring of Kaitlyn Gehler as an assistant coach.  

ATLANTA, Ga. – Fresh off one of the greatest single seasons in Tennessee Tech volleyball history, former outside hitter Madolyn Isringhausen will continue her playing career at the professional level, officially making the opening day roster of the Atlanta Vibe of the Pro Volleyball Federation.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Putting an exclamation point on arguably the greatest single season in Tennessee Tech volleyball history, senior outside hitter Madolyn Isringhausen added one final achievement to her sensational campaign Wednesday morning. The Edwardsville, Ill. native was named an American Volleyball Coaches Association Division I Women's All-American Honorable Mention, becoming the first Golden Eagle in program history to earn All-American honors. 

LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the first time in more than 25 years, the Tennessee Tech volleyball team was one of its own recognized at the national level, as the American Volleyball Coaches Association named senior outside hitter Madolyn Isringhausen to its Division I Women’s All-South Region Team Tuesday morning.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – A historic and record-breaking campaign came to a close Monday afternoon, as the Tennessee Tech volleyball team fell in a thrilling, 3-2 affair to Lindenwood in the semifinals of the 2024 Ohio Valley Conference Tournament at Houck Field House in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – A complete team effort, led by some remarkable performances from the rookies, was all the Tennessee Tech volleyball team needed to claim its first Ohio Valley Conference Tournament victory since 2015 Sunday afternoon, completing a 3-0 sweep over No. 6 seed Little Rock.
