COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – After turning in the program's best season since 2008, the Tennessee Tech volleyball team looks to build on its momentum with a slew of spring events.

The Golden Eagles wrapped up the 2021 campaign with a 16-14 overall record and an 11-7 mark in Ohio Valley Conference play, representing the most overall and league wins in a single season since the 2008 squad won the OVC's regular-season and tournament titles, as well as the program's most recent bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Also for the first time since 2008, the Cookeville crew saw three Golden Eagles recognized with OVC postseason honors, with Taylor Dorsey and Ashley Hand earning All-OVC First Team honors and Madolyn Isringhausen claiming Second Team accolades. Both Taylor, a middle blocker, and Isringhausen, an outside hitter, return for the purple and gold, set to lead the team in their spring campaign.

Tech kicked off its spring schedule with a victory against in-state rival Middle Tennessee on February 26. The Golden Eagles will continue the slate with a home match against another in-state foe, Chattanooga, on Sunday, Mar. 27. First serve is set for 2:30 p.m. CT in the Hooper Eblen Center.

The purple and gold conclude the spring campaign with tournament play, heading north to Bowling Green, Ky. for WKU's Spring Tournament. Tech will square off with Louisville at 11:30 a.m. and follow it up with a 2:00 p.m. match against former OVC rival Belmont. The Golden Eagles put a cap on the tournament and the spring season with a 3:30 p.m. tilt against the host Hilltoppers.

Tech's home event is free of charge and open to the public.
