BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Fresh off its first win of the season, the Tennessee Tech soccer team continued its recent string of positive momentum behind the club's first Ohio Valley Conference weekly award of the year.

After a career-high 10 saves in guiding the Golden Eagles to a 3-1 victory over Lipscomb on Sunday, Maggie Conrad was named the OVC's Co-Goalkeeper of the Week Tuesday afternoon, sharing the distinction with Southern Indiana's Anna Markland. Conrad's weekly honor marks the second such accolade of her Tech tenure after securing the award on Oct. 18, 2022.

The Cedar Rapids, Iowa product is coming off an 18-save week in which she first tied a career-high with eight stops in a narrow 1-0 loss at UAB on Sept. 7, before setting her new career standard with 10 halts in the triumph over the Bisons. The 5-foot-7 junior currently leads the conference with 43 saves in seven tilts this year.

Conrad and the rest of the purple and gold will prepare for a one-match week that will see TTU renew its rivalry with Middle Tennessee on Sunday, Sept. 17. The Golden Eagles host the Blue Raiders in the final non-conference clash of the campaign at 6 p.m. CT in Cookeville. Admission to Tech Soccer Field is free of charge.
