In 2013 (Sophomore): Taylor was one of the most consistent offensive players of the Golden Eagles, playing in all 19 matches and starting in 18 of them for Tech…played in 1,088 minutes on the year…finished third on the team with 18 shots, six of which were on-goal for a .333 shot-on-goal percentage…scored one goal and earned two points…took four corners, which was second on the club…scored a pivotal goal at Eastern Illinois three minutes into the second half that brought the Golden Eagles within one on Sep. 29…played in a season-high 86 minutes against Alabama State on Aug. 30…saw 82 minutes of action in a 1-0 win at SIUE in the conference opener on Sep. 27…took a season-high five shots at East Tennessee State on Sep. 22.
In 2012 (Freshman): Blazei saw a wealth of playing time as a freshman, appearing in 15 matches as a midfielder…totaled over 280 minutes…ended with one assist and one point…notched first career assist on a Sarah Gawthrop game-winning goal in a 2-1 win at Murray State on Oct. 21.
HIGH SCHOOL: Blazei earned four letters at Slinger High school, helping her team to three conference championship titles and was three times named second-team all-conference and one time named first-team all-conference…as a senior was named to the Wisconsin State all-star team…also lettered four years in cross country and two years in basketball…as a runner, helped her squad to a conference title and a sectional championship title…was a three-time state qualifier, three-time first-team all-conference member, one-time All-Area Runner of the Year, and Milwaukee Journal Runner of the Week…received an all-state academic award as a cross country runner…twice was named the Slinger Cross Country MVP…was a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society (Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica), and was a SOWL (Supporting Others With Leadership) Council Member.
CLUB/ODP EXPERIENCE: Blazei played for F.C. Milwaukee on the U15 State Championship team…was also a member of the MK-BCU 2009 USA Cup U19 Championship squad and the MK-Elite 2011 USA Cup U19 Championship team…was named the MVP following the semi-final match of the 2011 USA Cup.
