In 2011-12 (Junior):  Katherine appeared in 19 games during her junior season, averaging 5.1 minutes per contest…she tallied six points, 14 rebounds, two assists, four steals and two blocks…she notched a career-high two blocks against Samford (12/10)…named to the TTU Athletic Director’s and OVC Commissioner’s Honor Rolls…received TTU’s Golden Eagle Award for her character both on and off the court.

In 2010-11 (Sophomore): Katherine saw limited action, playing in eight games…she scored 10 points, while bringing down three rebounds…named to the OVC Commissioner’s and TTU Athletic Director’s Honor Rolls...received the OVC Medal of Honor.

2009-10 (Freshman): Saw action in 22 games, 10 of which she started in…recorded 37 rebounds, 33 points, four assists and three blocks…averaged 12.1 minutes per game...recorded a career-high nine rebounds and two assists against Austin Peay (1/21).

High School: A highly decorated basketball player at Sequatchie County High School, Katherine led her team to three district championships while earning all-district team honors each of her four seasons...rated one of the top-25 individual basketball prospects in Tennessee according to Basketball Time in the State of Tennessee...three-time all-region team...three-time district all-tournament team...three-time region all-tournament team...Chattanooga Times Best of Preps first team and participant in the Chattanooga Times All-Star Game...also played in the BCAT all-star game...scored 1,576 career points with a career high of 39...averaged 20 ppg, six rpg, four apg and four spg her senior season...also impressive in the classroom where she was selected Most Representative of Class...voted class president as a junior and finished in the top-10 in her class her freshmen, sophomore and junior years...member of the class president’s cabinet and served as the Beta Club Vice President. 

Personal: The daughter of Allen and Anita Barker....mother, the former Anita Myers, played basketball at Tech from 1982-83...aunt, Rebecca Myers Morris, also played basketball for Tech...born March 23, 1991...full name is Katherine Ann Barker...majoring in physical therapy.
