High School: Blevins was a four-year letterwinner at York Institute, playing for head coach Russell Tays for his final season… finished his career as the all-time leading scored in school history with 1,928 points… averaged 21.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.1 blocks per game as a senior, earning TSSAA District 8-AA Defensive Player of the Year and All-District First Team honors… also took home the Super 16 Richard Cowan MVP Award, 8-AA District All-Tournament honors, 4-AA Region All-Tournament honors and Class AA TSWA All-State honors… named both team MVP and earned the team’s Rebound Award… as a junior, averaged 20.5 points and 11.9 boards while earning 8-AA District Co-MVP and 8-AA Defensive Player of the Year honors… also earned York’s Rebound Award, Assist Award and Blocked Shots Award while being named All-Upper Cumberland First Team after averaging 1.4 steals , 2.0 assists and 2.5 blocks per game… named 8-AA All-District First Team, 8-AA Defensive Team and All-Upper Cumberland First Team as a sophomore, averaging 18.9 points and 3.0 steals per game… was named the 8-AA All-District Freshman of the Year and to the All-Upper Cumberland Freshman Team… as a senior led York to a Class AA Sectional Appearance and runner up finish at the 4-AA Region Tournament, as well as a fourth place finish in the 8-AA District Tournament… in his junior season, led his team to a first-place showing at the Super 16 Richard Cowan Tournament.
