No. 25 Golden Eagles to visit Murray State, weather alters schedule to Friday doubleheader

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 25 ranked Tennessee Tech baseball team will hit the road for a three-game Ohio Valley Conference series this weekend, taking on Murray State beginning with a doubleheader Friday, Apr. 13.

The series schedule was altered due to forecasted rain for Saturday in Murray. Friday will now feature a doubleheader with game one beginning at 2 p.m. CT. There will be no game Saturday, with the series finale still set for 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The Golden Eagle offense has continued its record-setting pace in 2018, leading the nation in batting average (.356), doubles per game (2.77), hits (411), home runs (72), home runs per game (2.32), on base percentage (.450), runs (346), scoring (11.2), slugging percentage (.633) and win/loss percentage (.839). The Golden Eagles also rank fourth in doubles (86) and 13th in base on balls (184).
