In 2016 (Freshman): Thomas led the Golden Eagles in kills with 219 on the year...played in all 29 of Tech's matches, including 27 starts...ended the season with 2.13 kills per set, 50 digs, and 48 blocks (second-best mark on the team) over 103 sets...notched a career-high 15 kills in the Golden Eagle's OVC opener versus Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 23...tallied a season-high eight digs versus Belmont (11/5) and a career-high five blocks at UAB (9/27), which she tied on two other occasions...ended the season with a .150 hitting percentage...totaled double-digit kills in seven different matches.

High School: Thomas joined Tennessee Tech from Okemos, Michigan, where she was a three-year letterwinner at Okemos High School playing primarily as a middle and right side under head coach Jamie Ianni... received All-Conference and Class A All-Region accolades in 2014 and 2015... led her team to a CAAC League Championship in 2013 and 2015 and a third place AAU National finish in 2014... named to the AVCA Phenom list and Under Armor watch list in 2014 and 2015... finished her high school career with 788 kills, 201 blocks, 137 service aces, and 559 digs while compiling a 103-34-6 record.
