High School: A two-sport athlete at Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Conrad suited up in both soccer and softball…secured Second Team All-State honors to go along with IAHSSCA Honorable Mention 2 All-State accolades, Second Team All-Metro, MVC Second Team All-Conference and Class 2A All-Tournament Team recognition…varsity starting goalkeeper since freshman year…led team to a Class 2A Iowa High School State championship in 2019, allowing only one goal while tallying two shutouts during title run…junior season cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, but in first two seasons combined for 47 starts, 12 shutouts, 290 saves, 0.876 save percentage and two assists…as a freshman started 18 times in between the pipes and made 123 saves, tabbed three shutouts and tallied a 0.868 save percentage…as a sophomore started 29 times and secured 167 saves, tabbed nine shutouts, posted a 0.884 save percentage and picked up two assists…as a softball player, suited up in left field and earned MVC Second Team All-Conference honors as well as All-Academic accolades…distinguished honor roll member each semester…member of the National Honor Society and member of the Spanish Honor Society.
Club/ODP Experience: Conrad was a club team member for VSA/FC United under the direction of Ginger Parson-McGill…won Iowa State Cup championships in 2018 and 2019, claiming both titles in penalty kicks…also suited up for the Iowa ODP team in 2017 and 2018.
Personal: Daughter of Joel and Kristan Conrad…born May 28, 2002…full name is Maggie Conrad…brother Ben is a current kicker for the University of South Dakota football team.
