HIGH SCHOOL: Alyssa started for four years as a midfielder and forward at Paul Laurence Dunbar high school in Lexington, Ky…took home a whole host of honors including Varsity Rookie of the Year, Best Offensive Player, two-time All-Region Honorable Mention, First-Team All-City, First Team All-State and Region II Player of the Year honors as a senior…scored 11 goals and added 14 assists as a senior…despite not playing as a junior due to an injury, compiled 29 goals and 42 assists throughout her career…performed in the classroom as well, earning the AP Computer Science Award, the US History Award, the Physics Award, the Probability/Statistics Award, and was an All-State Academic reciepent.
