Women's Golf

Spring 2024 (Freshman): Baker competing in one of Tech's five events in the spring, compiling three rounds of action… turned in a 90-86-86=262 while taking part in the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate (Mar. 17-19)… finished the year with an 84.83 scoring average.

Fall 2023 (Freshman): Baker participated in one of the team's five events during the fall, finishing three rounds of play… made her collegiate debut with an 81-84-82=247 at the Saluki Invitational (Oct. 2-3)… ended the fall with a scoring average of 82.33.

High School: Baker was a four-year letterwinner at Trinity Christian Academy in Jackson, Tenn. for head coach Phillip Robinson… led TCA to a Division II Class A Regional title in 2022, one year after pacing the team to a second-place showing… helped TCA to a runner-up finish at the 2021 TSSAA Division II Class A State Championships… named West Tennessee Girls Golfer of the Year as a senior… picked up a spot on the All-Region Tournament Team in 2021… earned individual medalist honors at the regional championships in 2022 before placing sixth at the state championships… in 2021, claimed a top-10 finish at the state championships… placed third at the 2020 regional tournament… turned in first-place finishes at three tournaments during the regular season as a senior… selected to the FCA All-Tournament Team twice.

Personal: Daughter of Elizabeth and Alan Baker… born in Jackson, Tenn. on October 27, 2004… full name is Docia Lydia Baker… father, Alan, played golf at Union University in 2003.

Academic: Majoring in exercise science and physical wellness with a concentration in sports administration… named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll twice and the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll once.
