A seven-year veteran in track & field, Kayla joins the
Golden Eagle roster for the 2015 season hoping to make an impact in
sprints, hurdles and relay events...in addition to four years of
high school competition, she has also run AAU and USATF track &
field for three years.
HIGH SCHOOL: Kayla attended Whitehouse Heritage High
School where she was a member of the track & field team four
years under coach Brandon Niblock...was the team captain...competed
in sprints, hurdles and relays...ran a personal-best of :26.05 in
the 200m event...in the 400m had a personal record of 1:01.52...her
PR at 100m is :12.6.
PERSONAL: Kayla Ali Turange is the daughter of Prentis and Raquel Turange... born April 6, 1997 in Nashville...majoring in coaching & sports administration aspiring to be a Director of Athletics...her father was a hurdler on the Ball State track team.
