As a sophomore, Brittany looks to add to the pool of experience
she gained in her freshman season, where she was a fixture for Tech
in sprints and relays...has the potential to become a consistent
point-scorer during her career.
TECH (2013-14): (Indoor) Brittany competed in the
55m, 60m, and the 200m...achieved a personal record in the 60m with
a time of 8.48 as well as a personal record in the 200m with a time
of 27.99. (Outdoor) In outdoor season, Brittany competed in many
events which were the 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x400m relay, and the
4x100m relay...personal record in the 100m was 13.07...in the 200m
was 27.19...400m was 1:09.80.
HIGH SCHOOL: Brittany attended Richardson High
School in Mesquite, TX. She was a well rounded student athlete
receiving awards in both athletics and academics. In academics, she
was the DECA captain and was an honor graduate. She lettered all
four years in Track and Field. She was the Team Captain for two
years. Her team was named District Champions in 2011-2012 and
2012-2013. She received the Soaring Eagle Award. Her personal
record for the 100m dash was 12.54..the 4x100m dash was 47.00.. and
the 200m was 26.76.
PERSONAL: Brittany Nicole McGee is the daughter of
Carl Sigears and Nicole McGee. She was born on March 7, 1995 in
Dallas, TX. She is majoring in Mass Communications with an intended
career of Sports Journalism.
