Christina will play a pioneering role on the Tennessee Tech
track & field team, joining Chelsea Mills as the first to
compete in the pentathlon (indoor) and heptathlon (outdors)...a
versatile athlete during her high school career, she looks to put
that broad-based skill-set to work in the demanding events for the
Golden Eagles...an Honors student throughout high school, she is
enrolled in the Honors program at Tech while also serving on the
Student Govermnment Association (SGA) as a Freshman Senator.
HIGH SCHOOL: Member of the cross country and track
& field teams for all four years during her time at Huntley
(Ill.) High School, and also a two-year member of the basketball
team...helped set school records in the 4x100 and 4x200
relays...competed in sprints, jumps and relays...was the county
400m champion...ran a PR of :59.20 in the 400m.
PERSONAL: The daughter of Brian Driscoll and
Christine Driscoll...majoring in international business and
cultures...born Sept. 4, 1995 in Elgin, Ill...full name is
Christina Marie Driscoll.
