In her first season at Tech, Erin showed tremendous talent with her swift high jump skills and even landed herself into a few season-best records for the team. Erin’s positive attitude and determination has made a major impact on her successful first season at Tech.

AT TECH (In 2011-12): Erin competed in the high jump during both the indoor season and outdoor seasons for the Golden Eagles... during the indoor season she cleared the high jump at the Southern Illinois Invitational and again at the OVC Championships with leaps of 4 feet 11.0 inches and 5 feet 0.0 inches respectively, also earning her a season-best record and a career best record for both jumps... during the outdoor season, she landed a season-best high jump with a 5-0.25 leap at the OVC Championships... also during the outdoor season she had distances of 4-9.75 and 4-9 in the high jump.

HIGH SCHOOL: Erin was a three-sport standout at Stone Memorial High School, where was a guard/forward combo on the basketball team under coach Tim Smith, played middle hitter in volleyball and competed in the high jump, long jump and relays for coach Mark Wattenbarger on the track and field team...was an All-District basketball selection in 2010 and an All-District volleyball honoree in 2009...set the school record in the high jump with a leap of 5-0...also part of the school-record-holding teams in the 4x100 relay, 4x200 relay and 4x400 relay...helped lead the Panthers to the basketball state tournament in 2007 and 2008 and the volleyball state tournament in 2009.
