Brittany comes into her sophomore season with a competitive attitude and looking to make a mark for the Golden Eagle squad...brings a solid resume onto the track squad.

AT TECH (In 2010-11): Brittany competed in the 55 meter and the 400 meter during the indoor track season and the 400 meter and 400 meter hurdles during outdoor season...her season-best time of 1:05.29 in the 400 hurdles at the OVC Outdoor Championships was the fifth-best time ever recorded in the event in Tech history...was a part of the 4x400 relay squad that ran the fourth-best time in school history of 4:01.51 at Tennessee State...the relay team also included Krysten Joshen, Emily Weinzetl and Katherine Lynn...posted a season-best 1:01.14 in the 400 at Austin Peay.

HIGH SCHOOL: Brittany lettered one year in track for coach David Lawrence at Inderkum High School and built a well-accomplished resume there...league champion in the 100, 200 and 300 hurdles...also league champion in the 4x100 and the 4x400...fifth nationally in the 4x400.

PERSONAL: The daughter of Carlos and Dannielle Cotto...full name is Brittany Dawn Cotto...birthdate is August 4, 1992...majoring in business.
