Elizabeth is in her first season at Tech.
AT TECH (In 2011-12): Elizabeth ran in two cross country meets in her first season at Tech...posted a season-best 5K time of 22:50 at the TTU Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: Elizabeth was a four-year letterman in track and field and soccer at Coffee County Central. She helped the Red Raiders qualify for the state meet in each of her four years and specialized in the 4x800 meter relay, the mile and the 4x400 meter relay. She set a personal record of 5:42 in the mile and a best time of 2:29 in the 800 meter. In soccer, she played midfield and defense and was named team captain in 2010.
PERSONAL: The daughter of John and Alisa Mitchell...born March 24, 1993...full name is Elizabeth LeeAnn Mitchell...plans to major in nursing.
