Dalis adds depth to the sprint squads for the Golden Eagles...versatile athlete who competed in four sports during her prep career...was the only member of the girls track team at her high school.

AT TECH (In 2010-11): Dalis competed in the 200 meter and 400 meter during indoor and outdoor track and field season...posted a season-best time of 27.27 in the 200 at Tennessee State...ran a season-best 1:01.98 in the 400 at the OVC Outdoor Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: After moving from California to the Chattanooga area, Dalis attended Boyd Buchanan High School as a junior and senior and was the lone member of the girls track and field team for two seasons...also lettered two years in cross country, volleyball and basketball...was named Best Defensive Player on the basketball squad and the team's MVP...qualified for TSSAA sub-state track meet...named Best of Preps...posted best times of 2.97 in the 100 meter dash and 27.04 in the 200 meter...spent her first two high school years at Santa Clara (Calif.) High School...member of the track and field team as a sophomore.

PERSONAL: Dalis Paige Connell is the daughter of Brian and Kelley Connell...born May 16, 1992...majoring in physical therapy.
