Brittney brings the necessary drive and talent for success as an athlete and a record that demonstrates it...also posts solid performance in the classroom.

AT TECH (In 2011-12): Brittney ran in five cross country meets for Tech in 2011, posting her best times in the final two meets...ran a season-best 5K of 21:02 at Evansville.

(In 2010-11): Brittney competed in all seven meets during the fall cross country season...posted a career best time of 20:49.16 at the Evansville meet...competed in the 800 meter, 1500 meter and 3000 meter in her first track season...posted a season-best time of 2:44 in the 800 at the OVC Indoor Championships...ran her best 1500 time of 5:31 in her final outdoor meet of the season at Austin Peay.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Brittney comes to Tech from South Greene High School in Greeneville, where she lettered four years in cross country under coach Noelle Smith...named most valuable player every season from her sophomore through her senior years...named All-Conference and All-Region every year from her sophomore through senior years...also a state qualifier in the junior and senior years...helped her team to finish second in the Blue Ridge Conference...as a student, graduated valedictorian of her class with a 4.0 GPA.

PERSONAL:  The daughter of Eric and Trenna Brown...born December 11, 1991...full name is Brittney Amber Brown...majoring in Pre-Med.
