Track & Field

A member of the Golden Eagle soccer team, Brooklyn is a versatile athlete who will also compete on the track & field team...an all-state runner and school record-holder at Harding Academy, she will bolster the Golden Eagle lineup in the sprints and relays...played in seven matches during her first season on the soccer team...Brooklyn joined her older sister, Jennee, on the 2011 Golden Eagle soccer roster.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Brooklyn competed on the varsity track team for four years while at Harding Academy....named all-state four times and holds three school records...set the school marks in 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relays...placed seventh in the state in 400m in 2010...finished eighth in the state in 2011 in 100m...she was a major contributor to her team's winning the 2009 and 2010 West Regional titles...her 4x100 relay team placed fifth at the 47th annual Volunteer Track Classic..won the 100m dash at the 2011 CBHS Invitational...in addition to her track success, she was a five-year letterwinner on her high school soccer team, where she played multiple positions on both ends of the field...helped her team to a state championship in 2008...named the Best Defender on her high school team that finished second in the state in 2007, and was named first-team Regional All West and earned spot on the All-West Regional Tournament team in 2007, 2008 and 2010...named to the All-State soccer team in 2008 and 2010.

PERSONAL: The daughter of Anthony and Jennifer Kimball, Brooklyn was born on April 10, 1993 in Memphis, Tenn. She is majoring in education at Tech.
