Justine is a Golden Eagle sophomore with the potential to make a solid impact at Tech...a strong competitor in sprints and relays in high schooland will continue in those same events on the collegiate level.

(In 2009-10): Justine ran sprints and relays in her first campaign with Tech track and field...ran the 55m and 200m in the indoor season...achieved a career-best time in the 55m of 7.63 at the OVC indoor meet after improving in that event in every meet over the season...best time in the 200m also came at the OVC indoor meet of 27.60...most productive meeting of the outdoor season came at the OVC Championships, as she clocked in at 13.03 in the 100m dash and 26.90 in the 200m dash...was a participant on two 4X100m relay squads which set school records in 2010...at Jacksonville State, her squad set a mark of 49.63, and at Vanderbilt, her team finished in 48.38, the fastest time ever at Tech in that event. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Justine comes to Tech from Anderson County High School in Clinton...won most-valuable-sprinter and state runner-up honors while competiting for the Lady Mavericks...also participated in the 100m and 200m dashes and the relays...best 100m time was 13.03 and posted a best 200m time of 27.3.

PERSONAL: The daughter of Justin and Sheryl Phillips...full name is Morgan Justine Phillips...birthdate is March 9, 1990...majoring in nursing.
