Meghan comes to Tech as a runner with a competitive attitude...has the potential to make a mark on the Golden Eagle squad...also a focused student-athlete with good marks in the classroom.
AT TECH - (2010-11): Meghan competed in five meets in the fall cross country season...her times improved nearly in every meet...achieved her career-best time of 21:38 at Furman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Meghan lettered four seasons in cross country at Morristown West High School for coach Raymond Farmer...also lettered four seasons in track for Farmer and coach Mac Pickle...earned numerous awards and honors...named All-Conference for three seasons, All-Region in two seasons and MVP...also named Newcomer of the Year in her freshman season...helped lead the squad to regional, conference and state championships in her freshman season in 2006...also an achiever in the classroom, having graduated with first honors and named a Who's Who student, AP Scholar and a Gold Star Achiever.
