Lacy is a freshman on the Golden Eagle squad and will competing in the throwing events during the indoor and outdoor track seasons...a talented athlete who made her mark in track in high school...also competed in basketball and volleyball...also a strong performer in the classroom...earned a spot on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in recognition of her solid academic efforts.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lacy comes to Tech from White County High School in nearby Sparta...the first track athlete from that high school to ever compete on the collegiate level of competiton...started her track career during her junior year and advanced to sectionals in the same year...as a senior, advanced to the state meet and took fifth-place honors...was a member of the Tennessean's All-Midstate second team...lettered both years for coach Dave Bruce...also lettered three years in basketball and three years in volleyball for the Warriors...a solid worker in the classroom in high school...kept a solid "A" average and was chosen to be a Girls' State alternate as well as a member of BETA.
