Mary Beth is a promising young athlete who specializes as a
middle distance runner...she was a Golden Eagle newcomer in during
the 2009 cross country season, coming off a strong high school
career.
AT TECH - (In 2009-10): Mary Beth competed in four cross country meets, achieving a best time of 26:39.10 at the Evansville meet.
HIGH SCHOOL: Mary Beth comes to Tech from Rhea
County High School, where she was a standout runner for Coach
Steffan Holder's squads...she lettered in track for all four years,
and one year in cross country...ran on a 4x800 relay team that
broke a school record in 2006, and then broke that record in
2008...qualified for the TSSAA state meet in sophomore year, and
qualified for the district, regional, and sub-state meets during
her last three years...co-captain of the 4x800 team in her junior
and senior years.

Dyer...full name is Mary Beth (Dyer) Norris...married Josh Norris
on June 20, 2009 in Springfield, Tenn.....born on October 22,
1989...majoring in early childhood education.
