2020 (Senior): During the COVID-19 pandemic-shortened season, Hughes was out for the year following an offseason injury.

2019 (Junior): Hughes appeared in the circle 14 times, including eight starts, posting a 4-5 record and a 5.63 ERA ... had five complete games and a shutout in 54 2/3 innings of work ... allowed 40 walks and struck out 37 ... batters hit .298 against her ... as a batter, Hughes hit .267 in 30 plate appearances, collecting eight hits and seven RBI ... had a .333 slugging percentage and a .353 on-base mark ... tied her career-high with two RBI against Southern Miss (2/9/19) ... struck out a career-high nine batters against Jackson State (2/10/19).

2018 (Sophomore): In the circle, Hughes put together a 5-12 record in 28 appearances and 17 starts ... compiled a 4.64 earned run average ... had 12 complete games among 123 2/3 innings of work ... allowed 106 runs -- 82 earned -- on 159 hits as she walked 77 and struck out 60 ... batters hit .309 against her ... offensively, Hughes appeared in 15 games, batting .229 on the season ... collected eight hits on 35 at-bats ... had two doubles and one home run ... drove in three RBI and scored three times.

2017 (Freshman): Hughes played in 13 games in the field, starting four ... batted .111 with two hits in 18 at-bats ... drove in two RBI and scored once ... in the circle, Hughes appeared in 10 games with three starts, going the distance once ... compiled a 3.00 ERA in 18 2/3 innings of work ... struck out 10 and walked 15.

HIGH SCHOOL: In her prep career, Hughes batted .325 with nine home runs, and compiled a 61-11 record in the circle with a 1.83 earned run average in 388 innings. She was named to the all-state team in 2014 and 2015, named to the Best of Preps 2014 and 2015 by the Chattanooga Times Free Press, was the Tennessee Player of the Game during the 2016 Tennessee-Georgia All-Star Game, and was the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Athlete of the Year for Southeast Tennessee in 2016.

Her Baylor School squad won the TSSAA Division II-AA state championship in 2013, 2015 and 2016. As a senior, Hughes batted .327 with five home runs, as well as pitching her way to an 18-3 record and a 1.66 ERA in 114 innings.

CLUB TEAM: Hughes played club ball with the Chattanooga Force.

ACADEMIC: Majoring in Speech Communication.
