2020-21 (Freshman): McCowan did not compete during the 2020-21 spring season.
High School: McCowan was a four-year letterwinner in cross country and track & field at Cookeville High School… was a three-time TSSAA State Cross Country Championships qualifier… was a three-time cross country regional champion… as a junior, was a 3,200-meter TSSAA State Indoor Championships qualifier… named CHS's 2016-17 Freshman of the Year… posted personal-bests of 17:56 in the 5K and 10:44 in the 3,200-meter run.
Personal: Son of Samantha and Richard McCowan… born on September 9, 2002… sister, Courtney McCowan, competed for the Golden Eagle women's cross country and track & field teams from 2017-21.
