Oleksiy (goes by Alex) is a tranfer from Oklahoma State who joined the Golden Eagles following the 2012-13 season, a year in which he participated as a freshman for the Cowboys...eigible immediately, he will challenge for a spot at the top of the Tech lineup...has three seasons of eligibility remaining...left-handed player.

AT TECH (In 2013-14): During the fall season, Oleksiy made his Golden Eagle debut in tournament action...posted a 1-4 record in singles matches and teamed with Alberto Esteban for a 2-2 records in doubles action.

AT OKLAHOMA STATE (In 2012-13): Went 5-5 in singles play at Nos. 5 and 6 as a newcomer to the Cowboy tennis program...contributed to OSU's strong doubles squad with a 6-1 mark at No. 3 with Brady Bohrnstedt...racked up a three-match winning streak in February, which included a win over Nebraska's Andrew Dzulnsky in the Cowboys' 4-3 victory on the road.

Personal: Born July 3, 1993...ranked as high as No. 1408 in ATP Rankings...won Ukrainian men's championship while at Donetsk National University...has one sister, Sasha.....enjoys playing guitar and reading books.
